SSO Authentication

Encrypted communication with SSL
An SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and enables an encrypted connection. It creates an encrypted link between a web server and a web browser, thus ensuring a secure connection.
When a website is secured with an SSL certificate, the acronym HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure) appears in the URL. Without an SSL certificate, only the letters HTTP (without the "S" for "Secure") are displayed. A padlock icon also appears in the address bar.
