An ambition for modernization, since 2008
In 2008, driven by a desire to modernize the management, evaluation, and selection of university applications, Benjamin Rivalland developed an initial open-source solution. Tested with the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, it proved successful from its first production deployment. This success marked the starting point of the Emundus adventure.
The company has since established itself as a leading provider for organizations that investigate, evaluate, and arbitrate cases on a daily basis: universities and business schools, foundations, associations, etc. In 2023, the acquisition of Wiin.io broadened its expertise. Two years later, the integration of Selecteev.io further fueled this growth momentum.
Seventeen years after the first line of code, more than 500,000 files have been processed for over 100 institutions. The ambition, however, remains unchanged: to give this work the tools it deserves.
